It is wonderful book!
I read all at once on Sunday afternoon. Actually I love Beatles songs and have most of albums in my CD, but never spent time to know the related story. This book is good journey. Thanks! And it looks the book ends at the year of 1966 after Beatles finished their touring. Any continuous writing ? hehe

Charlie,
Your comments made me especially for at least 3 reasons: 1. You were the 100th person to leave a comment on our site. 2. You were the first person to leave a comment from Japan. 3. I’m impressed that you both read and commented on our book in English – not your native language. I was very happy to know that you still enjoyed the experience.
In fact we are planning two more Beatle books. The next one will focus on the Beatles activities in 1967 (for example: “Sgt. Pepper” and “Magical Mystery Tour”). The 3rd & final book will tell the story of the Beatles from 1968 until their break-up in April 1970. Will keep you informed about our progress.
Thanks again Charlie.

Fabulous from the Fab four and you guys. I grew up with the Beatles! I am also a first time author and am interested in your creativity. If you are interested to produce a flip book along these lines for me please email me and put Flip Book in the title. My book will be published on January 30th 2021 in the UK and March 30th in the USA. CODEBREAKER GIRLS: A Secret Life at Bletchley Park (Pen & Sword Books/Casemate)

Jan,
Thanks for your kind words. We clearly share a passion for the Beatles – and we both grew up with them. And it seems we are both first-time authors. It’s quite exciting isn’t it?
I’ve passed on your coordinates to our Software Engineer Joost. He was fully responsible for producing our flip-book. You should be hearing from him soon.
Good luck with the publication of your book!

Wonderful journey by M Frank as he takes you down the road from formation thru 1967 with the Beatles. The multimedia format was a lot of fun to experience and it provided
a sense for how the music evolved as the Beatles themselves evolved. Story was punctuated with some great quotes and details I had not heard before. Cant wait for the next release!
Dawg,
Thanks for taking time out to leave a comment. Means a lot to me with all you’ve got going on in your life.
I think you identified one of the key elements of the book: the sense for how the music evolved in the short span of 4 years. The stylistic ‘distance’ between ‘Love Me Do’ and ‘A Day in the Life’ was enormous and reflected not only how much the Beatles evolved – but how much the youth culture of the 60s evolved as well.
Will keep you posted on our progress with the 2nd instalment of our trilogy.
Please feel free to share the book with friends & music lovers!
Thanks again.

Format is definitely 21st century.
Due to the lack of profanity and nudity it is something that parents and grandparents can share with children.
Enjoyed the statistical minutiae and timelines. It puts things in historical perspective.
Interspersal of songs gives non-hardcore Beatle fans a possible appreciation of their early music.
Despite watching Ron Howard’s documentary (Eight Days A Week) I got a better insight to their touring years.
Finally, I was surprised how informative the work was.
This is coming from a man who has watched hours of documentaries on the Beatles, George Martin and Brian Epstein. This is truly a historical work that should be shared with students in the classroom.
Great to see a comment from my brother! Thanks for taking time to write.
I remember discussing this book with you when you visited us in Paris. That’s when I realised how ‘encyclopaedic’ your knowledge of the Beatles was. Therefore you saying that our book was informative is quite the compliment!
If I had the time – and access to school curricula – I think it would be really cool to use “Becoming Sgt. Pepper” as a teaching tool. But I guess I will save that project for another lifetime.
Thanks again bro’.

nice
Short & sweet! Thanks John…M
