Here are a few tips to enhance your experience.
Our story is told with words, images and sound. So I recommend you enjoy the book on the largest computer screen and best audio equipment available to you. Using your phone is okay too but – believe me – you will enjoy the book more on a computer screen with good audio.
Once you’re in the book, make yourself familiar with the ‘dashboard’ at the bottom of the screen. There are 5 controls to master:
- To get the best view, click on the icon at the bottom right – the book will fill up your screen.
- The next icon to the left allows you to experience the book with sound. Definitely worthwhile to turn it on!
- To turn the pages – forwards or backwards – just click on the arrows at the bottom center.
- If you’re the type who likes ‘auto-pilot,’ there’s an icon on the left side of the arrows which will automatically flip the pages for you.
- The final icon on the left allows you to zoom in on any pages you like.
We’ve also installed a link at the end of the book which makes it easy for you to let us know what you thought of “Becoming Sgt. Pepper”. You can also use the comment section below this text to share your thoughts.
Click the icons below to go to the first book (Becoming Sgt. Pepper), the second book (Mad Days Out) or the third book (The Beatles The End).
Thanks again for your interest. Enjoy the ride!

M. Frank,
What a neat package. Photos are new to me. Love new pics. The story is factual yet concise. I like that. I listen to the songs with my headphones. I hear things that I never heard before. Surprise, Surprise! Digital remaster? Indeed. Best of luck with it, my Friend.

Michael, The farther I get into the book, the better it gets and the more fun I’m having.
Ray,
Very kind of you to share your comments. I especially appreciate because I know how much you love the Beatles.
I must give credit to our Software engineer for the remastered versions. He carefully chose which versions we wanted to use in the book with an ear for versions which might surprise true Beatle fans like yourself.
The same is true for some of the photos we chose. Our Graphic Designer wanted to portray the Beatles in new ways. I really liked what she did with several album covers (e.g. ‘Revolver’). That was totally her idea.
Please feel free to share this gift with your friends and family.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday my friend.

Dear M Frank,
I genuinely loved to read watch and listen to The Book! All my senses were inspired. The biography of all the Beatle Boys are interesting and I had no clue of their backgrounds. The book is a real page turner…Love the concept and its design…chapeau to the formidable teamwork!
So, THANK YOU for sharing this with me.
Wish you, your dearest and your team a wonderful December 2020.

Maria,
Very kind of you to take time to leave a comment. I sincerely appreciate.
Please believe me: This book was the result of a true collaborative process. Our Editor brought the focus. Our Graphic Designer gave it a ‘magic look.’ Our Software Engineer brought the music (and other stuff too technical for me to understand). And our Creative Consultant made sure we didn’t get too carried away.
Have the best holiday possible. And feel free to share the book with your friends and family.

What a brilliant book, full of fascinating pictures and facts! Being from 1957 I grew up with the Beatles but this has given me a completely new perspective on them. I never got to hear them play live, but a couple of years ago, I discovered a Dutch band called the Analogues who play all the Beatles albums live and have even purchased a lot of original equipment from the Abbey Road studios and other sources. Looking forward to the next book already!!!
Tim,
I’m really touched that our book gave a true Beatle fan (like yourself) a new perspective on the group. That’s pretty hard to do. Glad you think we achieved it.
Please feel free to share with your friends & family.
Let’s all have a better year in 2021…

It is a great experience to read and listen to be book, to be frank about it. M. has really unexpected skills.
Good teamwork from all of you to make this piece of art.
Maurice,
I estimate that we’ve known each other for more than 20 years. And somehow I never shared my love of the Beatles music until now?
The result was really a perfect example of teamwork. Each member of the team brought something special to the project.
I really appreciate that you called our gift a ‘piece of art.’ That’s the ultimate compliment.
Have a wonderful holiday.

This was a fun multi-media experience.
The writing, layout and pictures create a quick and easy read, but adding music to the book was a stroke of genius!
“Words give context” and “a picture is worth a thousand words”, but listening to the MUSIC reinforced and illustrated how the Beatles transitioned from a pop band into one of the most influential musical groups of all time. In retrospect, how can this story be told WITHOUT music? (Answer: I don’t think it can.)
A very enjoyable blend of facts, historical context, stories and music.
Kudos to the author and all the other folks involved!
David,
Really important for me to hear that you enjoyed the book. You were kind enough to give me hours of listening time whenever I was looking for advice.
Adding music was really a breakthrough for us. And 100% of the credit must go to our Software Engineer. I didn’t even dare to ask if it was possible and one day he surprised me by dropping a track into the book.
There’s one thing I can’t overemphasise: This was a true team effort from 5 people with different skills, backgrounds and nationalities. Shows you what can be achieved thru diversity of input.
Please feel free to share the book with your friends and family.
Have a wonderful holiday.
