So I settled in this Friday evening as Christmas rolls near in Southern Ohio. Turned on airplay and routed the sound thru some ancient
Coral speakers my father brought home from his tour in Vietnam. As I flip thru these wonderful pages, pictures, and great songs, I am left with a feeling of happiness. Memories of my early teens listening to the sounds of The Beatles wafting from the rooms of my three older brothers. Laughing at the comments of our Pop singing along like “Yeah, yeah, yeah”, or “I want to hold yor hand”. I still hear him now as he proclaims “Guys cant you put on some Sinatra already?”. Beatlemania surely took over our New England household in those days. Thanks to the authors and dedicated team members who put this digital flip book together. I love it.
One recommendation, invest in an SSL certificate, you will get much more organic traffic and Non-IT folks won’t be frightened by the not secure message. They tend to hit the back button when they see the message, even though they are viewing and not entering sensitive info.
Marc,
I think we grew up in similar circumstances. I vividly remember listening to the Beatles early albums coming from the bedroom of my big Sister. And my Dad asking if we could listen to some ‘real music’ instead – like Sinatra.
My sister was one of the 55,600 who saw (but couldn’t hear) the Beatles when they played at Shea Stadium on August 15th 1965. I’m still jealous 🙂
Thanks for your kind words. Please feel free to share the book with family & friends.
Let’s have a great 2021.

This book is brilliant!!! Well done lads and lassies!! Can’t wait for volume II !!!!! And the audio is fantastic. What those guys did with just a few tracks is hard to believe. No one ever sounded like them before and no one has really sounded like them since!! Thanks guys!!
Don, Thanks for taking the time to experience at our book and share your enthusiastic comments. If you don’t mind my asking, your comment about ‘lads & lassies’ suggests that you might be of Scottish extraction? Just curious.
Re Volume II: All of the research is done. In fact, Volume 2 was written before Volume 1. But when I submitted it to my editor (JP), he steered me in the direction of first releasing a volume that talked about the Beatles history which led them to ‘become Sgt. Pepper.’ I’m indebted to him for that suggestion! Nonetheless I wouldn’t expect Volume 2 to be out for another year. All of the design & software work you see in Volume 1 took approximately 4 months. And that was quite rushed. So when we do the 2nd volume, we want to take a little longer and hopefully come up with some new ’tricks.’
Thanks again. M
Fantastic. Many thanks to each of you (and all the family, friends and inspirations who made each of you the folks you are).
Kevin,
Sincere thanks for your comments. I’m really happy you enjoyed the book.
I can’t overemphasise how collaborative it was. In April I submitted a 400-page manuscript to my editor (JP). It was 99% text! In the interim, the team changed & improved the book into a multi-media digital product full of images & sound. I still can’t believe it.
Hope you have a great holiday. Please feel free to share the book with your friends and family.

Great trip down memory lane. Fantastic work on filling in some forgotten details.
Thanks Jim. We wanted to create an entertaining – but informative – history lesson. And it sounds like we succeeded!

I enjoyed floating backward in time to the inception of the world’s greatest band! What memories this book has evoked. Wonderful selection of key moments from their early career that illustrate the trajectory to the phenomenal “Sargent Pepper” tour de force.
Kathy,
Talk about floating backward in time! Seeing your name attached to your glowing comment took me waaaaaay back and generated lots of memories as well. Thanks for taking time to write.
Please feel free to share this gift with your family & friends.
